Saxon Packaging has worked with the Beer Box Shop to create a bespoke printed beer advent calendar this Christmas.
This was not Beer Box Shop’s first Advent calendar project, but Saxon managed to improve the design and reduce the material quantity, resulting in a 10% saving in manufacturing costs and a further saving on the delivery cost, because of less weight.
Stuart Haggar, Saxon Packaging’s business development manager, said: “I created a design which involved a locking base to ensure the advent box maintained its sturdiness, and ensured the flute direction of the cardboard was optimised for stability.
“I am really happy with the end result and that we have a happy customer, and in turn, they have lots of happy customers!”
