St Austell Brewery has unveiled new pumpclip designs for its flagship brands Tribute Cornish Pale Ale and Proper Job IPA.
Designed to define the strong, individual characteristics of both award-winning cask ales, the clips have a close synergy with the brands’ bottled versions, following a complete re-design in summer 2017. Indeed, they were designed by creative agency CookChick, which also led the bottle re-design project.
The new clip for the Cornish brewery’s best-selling beer, Tribute, is premium and three-dimensional to showcase the brand’s heritage and quality.
To celebrate Proper Job’s big, bold and powerfully hopped taste, the beer’s new clip has sculptural hops growing around its edges and a bright, fresh green design. The pumpclip is being launched alongside the Proper Job’s new trade and consumer marketing campaign, ‘Make it a Proper IPA’.
James Staughton (pictured right), chief executive of St Austell Brewery, said: “St Austell Brewery is fiercely proud of its heritage and Cornish roots, and our bold new pumpclips embody this. The brief was clear: visually celebrate our brewing history and showcase our innovative flair, whilst bringing to life the character of the individual brands.
“In a very vibrant beer market, the role of the pumpclip and creating bar standout has never been so important. We’re all delighted with the outcome and look forward to seeing the new Tribute and Proper Job pumpclips in all their glory in pubs all over the country in the coming weeks.”
