This summer, We Are Beer will be bringing their biggest line-up to date of breweries and beer aficionados to Tobacco Dock, for the seventh London Craft Beer Festival.
Taking place from August 9-11, the event will feature more than 80 breweries from the UK and around the world, with close to 500 beers on tap across the weekend.
A New York showcase will see Evil Twin, Kings County Brewers Collective, and Interboro manning the taps, while new European breweries will include Brasserie Popihn, from central France, and Cerveja Letra, from Portugal. In an exciting coup for the festival, Matt Orlando, founder of Copenhagen restaurant Amass, will be bringing his new brewery, Broaden & Build, exploring a new direction in beer, bringing together expertise from cooking, brewing, foraging and fermentation.
Flying the flag for the burgeoning UK craft beer scene will be Cloudwater and Verdant, with 2019 also marking festival debuts for Kings Cross-based Two Tribes, and Bohem, a Czech lager brewery from Tottenham.
At each session, ticket holders will get the chance to explore, taste and indulge in the festival’s largest choice of beers to date, enjoying unlimited 100ml pours, many of which will be made exclusively for the festival.

Bristol Craft Beer Festival will return to Lloyd’s Amphitheatre on June 8 and 9, with local heroes like Wiper & True, Wild Beer, and Left Handed Giant. North of the border, on May 24 and 25, Edinburgh Craft Beer Festival will return to the iconic Factory Quarter, in Leith, with brewers including Tempest.
We Are Beer co-founder, Greg Wells, said: “We’re now seven years old, growing each year and with an increasingly exciting and diverse range of beers and brewers. From ground-breaking producers at the top of their game to up-and-coming stars of the scene and the likes of Matt and the Broaden & Build team in attendance, we are blessed with some of the most respected names in the world of beer.”
Co-founder, Dan Sylvester, added: “The London Craft Beer Festival is a unique opportunity to experience the modern beer movement in one place — great beer, great music, great food. At LCBF towers, we’re hard at work, finishing up our best line-up to date, and we can’t wait to announce who’ll be joining us this August.”
