Deliveroo, known for on-demand delivery of restaurant meals, has formed a partnership with Heineken to deliver beer and cider to one’s door.
The partnership sees beer and cider available under the newly launched brand, Brewhouse, which can be accessed via the Deliveroo app.
The service launches today across 15 sites in London, with more sites being rolled out nationwide by the end of this year. Available on the menu will be a host of Heineken brands, including Heineken lager itself, Birra Moretti, Kronenbourg 1664, Amstel, Old Mout and Bulmers.
Using the same model as Deliveroo’s food delivery service, off-licenses and independent alcohol retailers will process customer orders for Heineken brands, which will be collected by Deliveroo riders and delivered to customers in just 20 minutes.
