Healey’s has re-launched its premium cider, Cornish Gold, which was first produced by the Healey family, on their Cornwall farm, in 1980.
Cornish Gold is being made to the original 30-year-old recipe, complimenting the Original 4.5% ABV blend with an oak-matured 6.2% variant.
Joe Healey, commercial director at Healeys Cornish Cyder Farm, said: “We are really proud of our Cornish Gold cyder. A mix of experience, hard work and passion has helped us to produce a premium taste that is perfect to enjoy at home, with friends or relaxing outside on a sunny day.
“This is the latest Healeys product to go on sale throughout England, helping us to reach even more people and showcase what we do best to our growing customer base.”
The launch sees the stylishly-designed 500ml Cornish Gold bottles join the supermarket shelves alongside Healeys award-winning Rattler Cyder, Cornish Scrumpy and a range of spirits, wines and soft drinks.
These can also be sampled at Healeys Cyder Farm near Truro, Cornwall, alongside home-made treats including jams and chutneys. And all this produce is now being served up on the menu of the attraction’s newly-opened restaurant, The Old Bottlery.
