Hawkes is launching Ciderama, an international craft cider festival, which will feature 30 forward-thinking cider makers from all over the world.

These will include Oliver’s (Hertfordshire), Pilton (Somerset), Big Nose and Beardy (Sussex), Zapiain (Spain), BlakStoc (Austria), Anxo (Washington), Original Sin (NYC), Artifact (New England), and Willie Smiths (Tasmania).

The event will be staged five minutes from the Bermondsey Mile at the Ugly Duck on Tanner Street, London.

Tickets are available now and priced at £40 per day. They are all-inclusive, meaning that every cider maker at the event can be sampled throughout a session. Included with every ticket is entry to the event, a branded Ciderama third-pint sampling glass, and the chance to join pop-up guided tastings throughout the day.

Hawkes will also be launching London Cider Week, in collaboration with city-wide bars and their cidermaking friends. The initiative will take place from July 16 to 19 and marks a week of tap takeovers, guided tastings, and cider themed events, giving all cidermakers throughout the country the opportunity to make an impact In London.

Hawkes founder, Simon Wright, said: “We are always looking for new and innovative ways to bring the craft cider revolution to the masses, and Ciderama is another huge step forward. This will be the ultimate event for producers and appreciators to come together under one roof and immerse themselves in their shared passion for all things cider.”

“There is so much amazing cider being created all over the world, but this is the first time it can be appreciated in a single location. Our aim with Ciderama is for it to become an institution that will run for years to come.”
