January 18: CR/AK tap takeover at The Wolf, 2-10 Constitution Hill, Birmingham B19 3LY. An event with the Italian craft brewers to mark The Wolf’s second anniversary.

January 18: Firebrand Brewing tap takeover at the Lamp and Whistle, 12 Leskinnick Place, Penzance TR18 2EZ.

January 18 and 19: 30th anniversary Exeter Festival of Winter Ales at Exeter City FC, St James Park, Stadium Way, Exeter, EX4 6PX, 11am-11pm. More than 76 real ales, plus cider and perry, and hot and cold food.

January 19: Collaboration launch party at The Wolf, 2-10 Constitution Hill, Birmingham B19 3LY. The launch of collaboration beers made by The Wolf in association with Burning Soul, Glasshouse, Twisted Barrel, Chapter Brewing, Dig Brew Co and North Brew Co.

January 19: Second anniversary party at Nomadic Beers, Unit 11, Sheepscar House, 15 Sheepscar Street, Leeds LS7 1AD, from noon.

January 23-26: Manchester Beer and Cider Festival at Manchester Central, Windmill Street, Petersfield, Greater Manchester M2 3GX. More than 700 beers, plus ciders and perries. Brewery bars from Thornbridge, Brass Castle, Blackjack  and others, plus a Little Ireland bar, 100 Club bar celebrating historic breweries, international bar and beers from the wood bar – over 60 beers matured and served direct from wooden casks. January 24: Nightjar Brew Co tap takeover and meet the brewer at the Casked micropub, 16 Bury Road, Rawtenstall BB4 6AA, 6.30pm.

January 24-26: The 10th Elysian Winter Beer Festival at the Maltings, Ship Lane, Ely CB7 4BB. More than 86 real ales, ten KeyKeg beers, cider and mead, as well as wine. Full details on the festival website

January 25 and 26: Salisbury Winterfest at the Royal British Legion Club, Endless Street, Salisbury, Wiltshire SP1 1DL. 24 real ales and three ciders.
