January 23-26: Manchester Beer and Cider Festival at Manchester Central, Windmill Street, Petersfield, Greater Manchester M2 3GX. More than 700 beers, plus ciders and perries. Brewery bars from Thornbridge, Brass Castle, Blackjack and others, plus a Little Ireland bar, 100 Club bar celebrating historic breweries, international bar and beers from the wood bar – over 60 beers matured and served direct from wooden casks.
