Wireless Social, in partnership with Acteol, has launched a fully-managed service designed to take the hassle out of e-mail marketing to achieve personal and targeted communications for pub operators.

Julian Ross Wireless SolutionsWith ever-increasing costs, including food inflation and the living wage, marketing often falls to the bottom of independent operators’ budget priorities, despite it being key to driving footfall.

Wireless Social’s end-to-end service — which collects and segments consented customer data through social media log-ins and creates personalised e-mails based on gender, age, interests and birthdays — aims to be an affordable solution.

The service also provides detailed reports as to whether customers opened the e-mails and if they returned to the venue afterwards. This allows operators to keep track of personalised and targeted communications, ensuring they are able to identify and repeat successful campaigns.

Julian Ross (pictured), managing director of Wireless Social, said: “Many operators no longer have the budget for in-house marketing and can’t afford to outsource, yet they still have so much to talk about. We wanted to create a solution for independents so that they can still afford to reach their customers in a way that is both personal and relevant.”

Stephen Powell, director at data solutions provider Acteol, added: “Our fully-managed service ensures that every aspect of the operator’s journey is taken care of, from data collection to e-mail creation. We use the data collected to find out what customers want to receive and tailor the communications to suit, maximising our clients’ open, click-through and conversion rates.”

The managed service package is inclusive of Wireless Social Platform use, full technical support, unlimited training and marketing support.
