Craft Beer Boom — Exeter’s first international beer festival — has been announced for April 9-12, at the city’s Queen Street Dining.

The event is being staged by local businesses Powderkeg Brewery and Crossed Anchors Brewing and will feature 40 local, national and international beers, as well as food and music.

The organisers say: “We have carefully curated a brilliant beer list with local, British, European, and American brews, all representing the best of world beer, and showcasing the many traditions and innovations out there.

“There is a particular emphasis on South West breweries to showcase the incredible beers being produced in the region. With all the different breweries, styles, hop flavours, and strengths, there really is something for everyone — low-alcohol and gluten-free options will be available.”
