Cornish Orchards Boardmasters

The team at Cornish Orchards are heading to the beach — Fistral and Watergate Bay beaches near Newquay — for the five-day Boardmasters festival, which gets under way today.

The festival will feature big names like Two Door Cinema Club, Jamiroquai, Alt-J, The Vaccines and Stormzy on its line-up, as well as impressive surf, skate and BMX competitions.

Cornish Orchards is the official cider partner for Boardmasters for the second year running. The company creates award-winning ciders, juices and soft drinks at its farm in Duloe, Cornwall.

All its ciders are fermented using 100% fresh pressed apples, which means they are absolutely bursting with flavour. Cornish Orchards uses the finest ingredients in its products, with no artificial sweeteners, flavourings or colourings, and what’s more, its ciders are gluten free and suitable for vegetarians and vegans.

Cornish Orchards’ trade marketing manager, Danielle Jones, said: “We’ll be bringing a laid back vibe to Boardmasters this year with our Orchard Bar, beautifully decorated with hay bales, apple trees, oak barrels, and of course apples. If you’re not sure which of our delicious Cornish ciders to order, find your perfect match at our Tasting Bar.

“And while you’re there, why not try our brand new fruit cider, Keeper’s Meadow? Made from fresh pressed apples and pears with a touch of elderflower, this delicate cider is extremely popular and has be likened to sparkling wine.

On FridaySaturday and Sunday, you can enjoy live performances from talented local musicians in our Orchard Bar, including Joanna Cooke, Joe Hurworth, Alex Dobson and Daisy Clark. And after a day packed full of music, surf and stunning views, we’ll be serving our infamous Wassail Mulled Cider to keep you warm. It really is going to be an incredible few days. See you at the beach!”
