Camden Town Brewery has announced the launch of Seasonal Hells, a range of four annual beers, inspired by the great British seasons.

The first of the new flavours in the range is the much-loved Strawberry Hells Forever, which will return for summer from June 16.

The collection of new beers offer a seasonal spin on Camden’s all-weather Hells Lager, and will be released across summer, autumn, winter and spring. As the brewery’s most popular beer, customers can now enjoy their Hells with a twist and fresh new flavour.

Every Seasonal Hells will be available in an illustrated 330ml can designed by Camden’s 2019 seasonal design collaborator, Dutch illustrator Bodil Jane. For this season’s crisp, tart, and full-bodied lager, Bodil has taken inspiration from the freshly-picked British strawberries used in the beer to create a bright bold can containing the perfect taste of summer.

Each beer will have a charity partner

Across the Seasonal Hells range, Camden will be brewing up more than just great-tasting lager. Each beer will have a charity partner relevant to the specific season, with 20p from each can sold going towards a greater good.

For Strawberry Hells Forever, the money will go to not-for-profit sustainable farming organisation Grow Up, which aims to inspire and educate people on sustainable eating.

Inspired by the work the charity does, Camden has installed the UK’s first brewery-based vertical urban farm at its Enfield Brewery. The farm will grow Camden’s own crop of urban strawberries ready to make the freshest summer lager.

Jasper Cuppaidge, founder of Camden Town Brewery said: “Hells is the brainchild which first launched Camden Town Brewery nine years ago, and continues to be our best-selling beer. As a crisp lager it is the perfect drink all-year round. However, we want to give Hells fans a new, fresh taste of the award-winning brew with our quarterly Seasonal Hells.”
