The brewery at Chester’s Brewhouse & Kitchen

Brewhouse & Kitchen has announced plans to develop its brand further with the concept of a ‘brewtel’.

There are plans to open ten new bedrooms within its Worthing brewpub, currently in development and a further 17 in its established Chester venue in the new year.

The 22-strong brewpub group has identified a total of 72 potential bedrooms across all its UK sites.

The brewtel concept allows those who love craft beer to not only drink and dine in their favourite brewpub, but to completely immerse themselves in the whole brewpub experience, and enjoy spending the night in a unique setting.

Guests will be able to brew some of Brewhouse & Kitchen’s signature beers as well as stay in one of the hotel rooms, which will be available from the start of 2020.

Chief executive, Kris Gumbrell, said: “This is a really exciting time for Brewhouse & Kitchen. We have experienced tremendous growth across the experience arm of our business, and it is exciting to see the next stage of our expansion into other areas to create the ultimate brewpub experience for all our customers.

“We are always keen to respond to our guests and their demands, and as the immersive experience industry is continuing to grow, this is a logical step for the business to take as we continue to grow in the 2020s.”
