Brewhouse and Kitchen has exchanged contracts to acquire the freehold of Wabi, in Horsham — the acquisition is expected to complete in the next 14 days.

Wabi is a former prime site public house, in a high footfall location in a premium Sussex town.

In addition, Brewhouse and Kitchen has also confirmed the completion of the acquisition of the leasehold interest of the The Beagle, in Hoxton, London.

A spokesperson said: “This iconic location, set in the railway arches next to the Hoxton Overground, is a unique opportunity and a great fit with our brewpubs at Highbury and Angel. It is expected to be open and brewing in mid-July.”

These projects take Brewhouse & Kitchen’s total number of sites across the nation to 21, fortifying a solid period of growth and expansion for Britain’s largest brewpub chain.
