A trailer carrying £150,000 worth of BrewDog beer has been stolen from a service station in Cheshire. It was carrying much-needed stock to an online distribution centre.

The theft occurred at the Moto Lymm services on Tuesday (24th March). Cheshire Constabulary is appealing for information.

Unlike the one pictured, the lorry was not branded, but was plain navy blue with a curtain-sided trailer.

In a statement, BrewDog said: “A BrewDog order was destined for our online shop distribution centre to keep up with high demand. It was a full truck load with 26 pallets of BrewDog beer.

“We are working with the Cheshire Police, but would appreciate any leads.”

Demand for beer online has soared since the start of the Coronavirus lockdown.
