St Peter’s Brewery is looking to significantly grow its on-trade sales with the appointment of Rob Breakwell, who is well known in the industry, with a huge knowledge of the beer market.

Rob will be joining the brewery as head of sales with an initial objective to grow the brewery’s cask distribution nationally, while also pushing the new draught side of the business.

Rob has an extensive background in the beer industry, having worked as national account manager at Adnams for many years, before more recently taking up the role of director of sales at Hiver The Honey Beer.

St Peter’s managing director, John Hadingham, said: “We are very excited to have Rob on board. This year is going to be one of big changes for St Peter’s, and I am delighted to welcome Rob to the team to support our plans.

“Rob is hugely experienced and respected within the industry. He’s incredibly well known and well connected, and we look forward to seeing some of the fantastic results he will achieve in the coming months. We have many opportunities ahead, particularly across the on-trade, to which Rob’s experience will be invaluable.”

Breakwell added: “After nearly 13 years at Adnams and more recently as director of sales at Hiver Beers, in London, I’m thrilled to be joining St Peter’s at such an exciting time. I can’t wait to get back to an East Anglian brewer and help to deliver the ambitious plans that St Peter’s has for the coming years.”
