We Are Beer, the team behind Bristol, Edinburgh, and London craft beer festivals, have announced that Beer Central will be returning to Birmingham.

The festival will this year be held at the Digbeth Arena, a 12,000 sq ft venue with 3,500 capacity, on July 24 and 25. Festival-goers will get the chance to explore, taste, and indulge in a huge selection of more than 100 beers, along with food from a selection of Birmingham’s top street food pop-ups, chefs, and restaurants, while taking in a world-class music line-up.

The Beer Central line-up will feature beer from more than 20 local legends, such as Attic Brew Co and Dig Brew Co, alongside top UK breweries, including Black Iris, Yonder, Braybrooke, and Gipsy Hill. The festival will also showcase International breweries, including Canada’s Collective Arts, and Stone & Wood, from Australia.

Greg Wells, co-founder of We Are Beer, said: “We’re buzzed to bring Beer Central back to Digbeth after the success of last year’s festival. We’re super proud of our music line-up, food offering, and selection of breweries taking part.

“We are also excited for everyone to experience it in an amazing venue like the Digbeth Arena. We can’t wait to bring the absolute best in beer, food, and music to Brum once again!”

• Tickets are available via beercentralfestival.com — a ticket includes entry to the festival and access to samples of beer from participating breweries.
