The re-launched Ascot Brewing Company is seeking to raise £200,000 via crowdfunding to grow sales and expand brewing capacity.

Ascot Brewing bottlesNew owners Chris Davies and Mike Neame took over the company earlier this year, renaming the former Adcot Ales and recruiting experienced John Williatts, formerly of Binghams Brewery, as head brewer.

John was responsible for brewing CAMRA’s Champion Beer of Britain in 2016, Bingham’s Vanilla Stout.

With the new investment, the Ascot team aims to: increase brewing capacity to meet demand; build its team, focusing on UK sales and export; Roll out contactless ‘smart pumpclip’ technology; expand sales channels with an on-site brewery shop and online sales; increase attendance at trade and consumer events with its horsebox taproom; and develop new products and formats, including lagers, kegs, cans and new bottles.
