Fuller’s pub The Anglers, in Teddington, has re-opened with a fresh new look throughout the interior and garden.
The Anglers had been closed since New Year’s Day and has undergone a huge transformation. General manager, Ben Walton, has contributed greatly to the project, which saw the venue re-open its doors on Tuesday.
The Anglers is an 18th century pub with a Thames-side garden. The refurbishment sees a new bar, a large state-of-the art kitchen, a beautiful garden, and a new first floor function room that can be hired for private events, as well as a new menu and a widened selection of drinks. There will also be a return of events such as the pub quiz and comedy nights.
Jonathon Swaine, managing director of Fuller’s, said: “I’m really excited about the opening of The Anglers — it’s a fantastic pub in a great location. As a historic building, it needed a bit of love and care. We’ve injected a new lease of life in to this beautiful pub.
“The only thing that hasn’t changed is the outer walls of the building — everything else has been updated, and it looks incredible. Ben is a great leader for our pub — he’s well-loved by locals, and I can’t wait to see what he and his team have planned for the future.”
