Left Handed Giant is celebrating its ninth anniversary with a trio of new collaborations, as well as looking forward to a bank holiday weekend event.

Left Handed Giant collaborations

So Interesting (6.5% ABV) is an old ale, brewed with Whiplash Beer. The beer has been brewed with traditionally floor- malted barley, Kentish Goldings hops, and a traditional Yorkshire ale yeast, before conditioning on oak. It’s a rich mahogany in colour, with layers of treacle, dried fruit, and a pleasing spicy hop character to finish.

Perpetual Light is a 6.5% ABV IPA brewed with Double-Barrelled Brewery. It has a wheat-heavy, cumulous texture that’s the perfect setting for bursts of white grape and pops of pineapple dankness. Expect notes of apricot, gooseberry, and passionfruit.

Open Ocean (8% ABV) is a hazy double IPA created with Spain’s Garage Beer Co. There’s a combination of US and New Zealand hops on a full and fluffy base. It features an early tank addition (dip-hopping) of liquid extracts, a two-stage dry-hop, and a late addition of hop kief. Expect bags of floral citrus and a huge range of delicate oils and juicy aromas, with notes of pomelo, mojito, and honeydew melon.

This weekend, Left Handed Giant joins forces with Arbor, Good ChemistryLittle Martha, Moor, and Wiper and True for the East Bristol Brewery Trail, with brewery doors open on Saturday and Sunday (4th and 5th May).
