The new dates follow a pre-Christmas imperial stout extravaganza, and Shrewsbury’s first alcohol-free beer tasting just last week.

On Wednesday, 22nd February, you can enjoy that dream pairing – beer and cheese – with Laura at The Boot micropub, in Wellington.

The event costs £30 per person and will feature a guided tasting of six beers. Each will be matched to a cheese, supplied by Boot neighbour The Walnut restaurant. Tickets can be booked here or direct from The Boot or its sister pub, The Coracle, in Ironbridge.

If you prefer an evening without alcohol, Laura’s next event, on Thursday, 23rd February, might be the one for you. Held in conjunction with Dry By Choice, it will be at the stop. coffee shop in Shrewsbury Museum and Art Gallery.

This event will give guests the chance to find out more about a range of delicious beers in a variety of styles, all at 0.5% ABV or lower. Tickets cost £15 and are available here or direct from the dry. shop on Wyle Cop, Shrewsbury. They include an alcohol-free welcome cocktail and a curated platter of paired foodie treats.
