Offset Brewery has launched, with, quite lietrally, a weather eye on the summer and a hope for long, hot days of barbecue.

The brewery is the brainchild of Steve and Polly Ewell, a Walthamstow-based couple with a passion for barbecue.

They are launching with a core range of three beers: a traditional lager, an English IPA, and a New World pale ale.

Backyard Lager is the first and favourite beer Steve and Polly created, originally brewed in their backyard to celebrate the first barbecue at their new home. It’s a classic continental lager that’s easy drinking, crisp, and refreshing.

Shaker IPA is created with British hops, bright with citrus and with a bold bitter finish. “A well-rounded, full-bodied beer,” say the brewers.

Low ’n’ Slow Pale Ale is Steve’s recommended go-to for a long cook on the barbecue. The New World session pale ale is packed full of tropical fruit flavours from the hop farms of the United States and New Zealand.

The brewery, based in Essex, uses state-of-the-art brewing facilities, overseen, say the owners, by some of the best
brew masters in the country.

Offset has begun a partnership with with Indulge Dining, which has launched a premium Gourmet BBQ Box to take the hassle out of barbecuing at home. Find out more about that here.
