Nearly 300 figures from the brewing industry attended the event, in Moorgate, London, to help celebrate the very best in beer and all the award winners.

Brewers Journal editor, Tim Sheahan, said: “Producing in excess of one million pints each week, coupled with a host of other beers, is no small feat. Alongside that, Aaron manages a team of some 32 brewers to ensure your whole operation goes smoothly.

“It would be enough to keep most people up at night. But thankfully for Aaron, he takes it all in his stride. The UK is blessed with a wealth of fantastic, driven young brewers, but it was clear that Aaron was fully deserving of the title of young brewer of the year.”

Aaron said: “After receiving the young brewer of the year award for 2021 I’m feeling extremely proud of my performance as head brewer, but more importantly grateful for the support Sharp’s and Molson Coors have given me throughout my career to date.

“Be it the investment in my education (IBD qualifications), the secondment opportunities across the network, or even my development plans, the set-up of our business, with a true ‘people first’ priority is what has allowed me to develop as a brewer and as a leader.

“I feel like this award is not only a personal accolade but also a huge reflection on our business, our commitment to people, and our commitment to the brewing industry as a whole.”
