The Real Ale and Cider Festival will be returning to the Spa Valley Railway, in Kent, from 1st-3rd October.

Spa Valley Brewery

The event will feature more than 200 real ales and 40 ciders, alongside food stalls, live entertainment, and, of course, steam and heritage diesel trains.

This year’s festival will be an extra special celebration to mark not only the 10th anniversary, but also the event’s return, having not been held in 2020, due to the pandemic.

Trains operating across the three days, between Tunbridge Wells West and Eridge, will include the steam engines Sir Keith Park and Douglas. Heritage diesels will include visiting Class 33/0 33002 Sea King, Class 31/4 31430 Sister Dora, and Class 33/0 33063 R J Mitchell.

Beers and ciders will be available at Tunbridge Wells West, Groombridge, and Eridge stations, and on all trains running during the entire event.

Tickets are now on sale, priced at £20 for an adult all-day rover ticket, £30 for a two-day rover ticket and £40 for a four-day rover ticket. Children’s tickets (two to 15 years) are half price.

All tickets available at www.spavalleyrailway.co.uk.
