The local Lions Club has confirmed that Newquay Beer Festival, in Cornwall, will return this year, from 24th to 26th September.

Newquay Beer Festival

The festival has been staged at Hendra Holiday Park since 2013, and has so far raised more than £50,000 for local good causes.

Run by Newquay Towan Blystra Lions Club, it showcases 100 of the best of the region’s real ales and ciders, plus wines, lagers, soft drinks and, this year (for the first time) a gin and bubbly bar.

There’s plenty of choice when it comes to food on the festival site and across the Hendra Park, and the indoor and outdoor stages enable some local musicians the opportunity to get everything moving with a varied programme.

Earlybird tickets are on sale until midnight on Sunday, 12th September, giving a ten pound reduction per person on the three-day gate price. They can be purchased online at www.newquaybeefestival.co.uk. Use the discount code when you’ve booked to ring Hendra and get a special low-price deal on camping, caravan and motorhome pitches on the doorstep of the festival itself. You can also stay at Hendra in some of their caravans and lodges at great value prices.

The event is child and pet friendly. The organisers add: “We are really confident that the festival will be able to take place in a safe and enjoyable way, without restrictions in place, given current government guidelines and legislation.

“However, in the event of the festival not going ahead, your ticket price to the event is fully refundable, including any booking fees, or you can opt to keep any savings made this year and transfer the tickets to the 2022 event.”
