The people behind The London Bridge Experience have opened The Bermondsey Bierkeller underneath the arches of London Bridge.
Inspired by the biggest beer festival in Europe, Oktoberfest, The Bermondsey Bierkeller aims to bring the best of the German party to the heart of London.
As well as authentic German food, there will be six beers on draught. These range from from Hacker Pschorr Munich Gold, a 5.5% ABV golden lager brewed at one of the most historic breweries in the world (and in accordance with the German purity law), to Paulaner Hefe Weisse, Germany’s number one wheat beer (5.5% ABV). The venue also has its very own brew, the Bermondsey Bravo (4.2% ABV).
The cosy beer hall has also been kitted out with two state-of-the-art games vaults where friends and families can battle it out over a game of American pool, interactive darts, ping pong, table football, shuffleboard, and more. In addition, the venue will frequently host parties and live music shows.
