Wadworth is celebrating winnin two World Beer Awards for 2018 with its flagship beer, 6X, and rum-infused Swordfish.
Swordfish was the national winner in the category of spirit flavoured beers. This amber ale is famous for its unique flavour, which includes the addition of Pusser’s Rum during the brewing process.
The ever-popular Wadworth 6X received a World Beer Award for the second year running, taking silver in the category of bitter up to 4.5% abv.
Wadworth chief executive, Chris Welham, said: “We are absolutely delighted with our beers being recognised at the World Beer Awards.
“This is testament to the dedication of our brewing team, who do a really great job with our beers and in doing so provide beer lovers up and down the country with some of the best tipples around.”
