Wolf gin

The dispute between BrewDog, which owns the Lone Wolf distilling brand, and The Wolf, the Birmingham beer bar, appears to be over after the two bonded over a session in Scotland.

A Lone Wolf spokesperson said: “Our union with The Wolf symbolises our commitment to collaborating with our community, and resolving our differences following a trademark issue a few months ago.

“We support those who fiercely defend their independence and what they stand for. Making a unique gin to honour that with The Wolf was the natural thing to do.”

Seventy bottles of the limited-edition gin will be available in the LoneWolf online shop at noon tomorrow (Tuesday) and in The Wolf, Birmingham, by the middle of this week.

All profits from the Wolf Pack gin will go to the UK Wolf Conservation Trust, which works to protect and conserve wild wolves and their habitats through education.

Sallie McFadden, from The Wolf, said: “Making gin has been such a fantastic experience! The guys from LoneWolf Spirits welcomed us, shared their knowledge and, hopefully, it has resulted in something we will all enjoy.

“As we have all discovered, it is better when us wolves stick together. So when LoneWolf asked us which charity we’d like to support, the UK Wolf Conservation Trust seemed like the perfect choice. We hope everyone enjoys the Wolf Pack Gin!”
