St Austell Brewery will be celebrating midsummer in Croyde, North Devon, again this year, sponsoring the 20th running of the multi-award-winning GoldCoast Oceanfest event in June.

Having supported the festival for many years, St Austell’s own award winners, Korev and Tribute, have become synonymous with the beachside event at the Unesco reserve, and this year’s 20th  anniversary, with Chase and Status, Jess Glynne and Razorlight as part of the weekend’s line-up, looks set to see the biggest celebration of surf and music at the Croyde location to date.

St Austell Brewery trade marketing manager, Marc Bishop, said: “The mix of surf and music at Oceanfest is a perfect match for us, especially for Korev, which is linked so closely to both these aspects of South West
culture.

“What makes Oceanfest so special, though, is the overall package: great music, exhilarating surf and sports as well as delicious, locally-sourced food and drink set against a phenomenal backdrop. We’re proud to play our small part in its continued success.”

This year’s Oceanfest event takes place across from June 15 to 17 at Croyde Bay, with more top names to be announced over the coming weeks.

Co-director, Shaun Latham, said: “Oceanfest goes from strength to strength, and one of the things that makes it
so popular is that there’s something there for everyone. It’s big enough to create a great party atmosphere, but still small enough not to be overwhelming — just the way we like it.”
