Having built up its real ale offering from a single tap to a six-handpump ‘Mecca’ for beer lovers, the Mosset Tavern, in Forres, is preparing to hold its first major festival.

Held over four days — from April 5-8 — the Forres Foot-Tapper will showcase more than 18 breweries from across Scotland and beyond, boasting over 80 real ales.

Music from well-known bands Schiehallion, Glasgow Duo Lazy Jams, the Chris Grant band, and duo Seersha will provide the buzz, while there will also be street food with a Cajun-Scottish twist.

On Thursday, there will be a free meet the brewer event to get drinkers in the mood for the next three days.

Day tickets to the event are £10, and 25% can be saved with early bird weekend tickets (Friday-Sunday), which are £15 until February 28 and £20 thereafter. Tickets include a glass and three beer tokens for each day.
