Godstone, one of the main acts announced for Brewstock at St Austell Brewery

St Austell Brewery is hosting its first Brewstock festival on Saturday, September 8, kicking off at noon and boasting ten live music acts, as well as great beer and a barbecue.

With local heroes like Godstone, Moriaty and O’deus featuring on the main stage, and Ben Thorpe, Samuel Howard and Rue on the Small Batch Stage, there’s musical variety to suit all tastes, while more than 25 St Austell Brewery, Bath Ales and small batch brews will cater for the most eclectic of ale palates.

The brainchild of Brewery Visitor Centre manager Will Nash, Brewstock is set to become an annual event, helping to raise money for the brewery’s Charitable Trust, which has raised more than £750,000 for local charities, individuals and organisations in need since its inception in 2003.

Will said: “The idea of Brewstock is to showcase the wealth of local musical talent that we are lucky to have. Our monthly music nights are a part of that and the brewery is such a great venue for live music that it made sense to expand on those single music nights, create something really special and raising money for charity at the same time.”

Tickets for the all-day event are just £10 and are available on a first come, first served basis at the Brewery Visitor Centre, online at vcoffice@staustellbrewery.co.uk or can be booked on 01726 66022, where more information about the live music acts and the event itself can be obtained.
