SIBA brewery of the year, Signature Brew, has launched a crowdfunding campaign to treble the size of the brewery to keep up with demand.

The money will fund a move to a site close to the brewery current East London home, which will house a state-of-the-art brewhouse, trebling capacity from day one.

The site will underpin the next ten years’ continued growth, expanding UK distribution and growing exports.

The wants to bring all production in-house. It has recently had to brew some of its pilsner keg beer off site, due to capacity constraints.

Taproom showcases

In addition to a new taproom, Signature Brew plans to open two further taprooms to showcase its beers and host events.

In its pitch, the compan says: “Everything we do is infused with music. We’re as passionate about music as we are about our beer. It’s what makes us different and gives us our edge.

“From alt-J to Mastodon, we love brewing with bands and getting renowned artists up to their elbows in hops. Foo Fighters even requested our beer at their pop-up pub!”

The brewery is looking to raise £400,000 and giving away 4.26% of its equity. Find out more at Crowdcube
