Sharp’s Brewery is giving its drinkers more choice in how to enjoy its beer as it launches flagship Doom Bar in both can and mini-keg.
Doom Bar can multi-packs will be available in cardboard, not plastic, packaging — a move that highlights the brewer’s commitment to environmental awareness and sustainability.
The mini-keg and cans are also the first products to display Sharp’s new visual identity, reflecting the Cornish sea, which will be rolled out across the brewery’s portfolio in the coming months.
James Nicholls, senior brand manager at Sharp’s, said, “We’re really proud of Doom Bar’s success and wanted to give our loyal Doom Bar fans even more ways to enjoy their favourite beer.
“We are constantly innovating to meet growing consumer demand and provide our customers with as much choice as possible. With nearly nine delicious pints in every mini-keg, the keg as well as the cans are ideal for the summer months and enjoying a barbecue on the beach with friends and family.”
Andrew Madden, Sharp’s head brewer, added: “We are delighted to bring out much-loved Doom Bar in mini-keg and can, and are confident that consumers will love these new flexible formats.
“Both will maintain the same much-loved flavour profile and consistent high quality of our cask and bottled beer, and all formats are continuously taste matched to ensure consistency for our customers and consumers.”
