With thoughts turning to winter, Sharp’s Brewery has launched its latest limited-edition amber ale, Doom Bar Reserve.

Doom Bar ReserveAvailable across on-trade outlets throughout the UK until December 31, Doom Bar Reserve is the big brother of Sharp’s flagship beer, the UK’s number one cask ale, Doom Bar, but brewed to a higher alcohol level to warm and satisfy over the festive period.

Doom Bar Reserve has a bigger, malty mouthfeel, says the brewer, without being cloying, and a bigger hit of the spicy resinous hop which is the trademark of Doom Bar. Dry, fruity notes complement the malt body.

James Nicholls, senior brand Manager at Sharp’s, said: “We are delighted to launch this very special Doom Bar Reserve and we hope that people will enjoy this delicious, moreish ale over the festive period.

“Doom Bar has a big following so this exceptional limited-edition Doom Bar Reserve should prove very popular — get it quick while stocks last!”
