Manchester-based Marble Brewery has recorded record production of 4,140 hectolitres in 2017.

Marble BreweryIt plans to increase this by 500hl in 2018, which will still keep it under the threshold for small brewers’ relief.

Director Jan Rogers told Northern Business news website BDaily: “This year is shaping up to be really exciting for us. Demand from foreign markets is seeing excellent growth, while our UK customer base continues to expand.

“We are always keen to experiment and this year have plans for three new ranges. We are planning a sour programme, a hoppy range and some big adjunct stouts.”
