Gower Brewery

Black Diamond (4.2%)
Very dark brown /red with a beige head, this beer is enjoyable and sessionable. The aroma is malty and slightly woody, with subtle roast malt flavours on the palate that get more pronounced. Coffee and a hint of vanilla come in. There’s not much in the way of bitterness — it’s almost like a mild — although there is a hint of berry fruit right on the finish. (11-07-2016)

Gower Power (5.5% ABV)
Gower PowerThe beer is deep golden with a white head that dissipates quite quickly. On the aroma there’s caramel and grassy hop. On the palate, the resinous hop turns to orange pith, but there’s still quite a bit of caramel sweetness , with some bready malt notes in the background. In my book, not quite hoppy enough to live up to its IPA billing. (29-08-15)
