The Wakefield branch of CAMRA paid a visit to Rebel Brewery in Penryn, Cornwall, to make an award presentation.
Rebel’s Mexi-Cocoa chocolate vanilla stout was named best brew at the Wakefield Beer Festival in October.
The visitors mixed with members from the Cornwall CAMRA branch and were hosted by Rebel Brewery directors Stephen Trezona and Shirley Cormack-Trezona, along with head brewer, Matt Pascoe.
Matt received the trophy from Wakefield CAMRA chairman, Albert Bradbury (pictured below), after which some Rebel beers were enjoyed.
While they were in Cornwall, the visitors also enjoyed pub trips in Falmouth, Truro and Newquay.
