Attracting visitors from across the globe, The Bridge End Hotel,in the heart of Llangollen, has unveiled a stunning new look.

Overlooking the famous bridge over the white-water rapids of the River Dee, this hotel boasts picturesque views. Robinsons Brewery acquired the premises in 1944, and since then the pub has prospered, serving excellent quality beer and increasing its customer base internationally.

The refurbishment was guided by Robinsons’ in-house design team, who redesigned the external area of the pub to bring it up-to-date with Robinsons’ corporate branding. The interior of the pub also received substantial renovation.

Bridge End Hotel licensee, Gerrand Romano, said: “Myself and Josie have been licensees of The Bridge End Hotel for 16 years now, and the recent change has been brilliant for us. Our customers won’t stop expressing how impressed they are with the fresh look!

“We also had an amazing designer from Robinsons who was extremely attentive and helpful throughout the entire process — it was great.”

John Hughes, business development manager at Robinsons, added: “The Bridge End Hotel sits in a superb location. The steam railway starts 100 yards away, as does the Llangollen canal, one of the most scenic routes in the UK.

“Ged and Josie are experienced long-term Robinsons licensees who are very well established in the area, and it was very rewarding to be able to give the pub a new lease of life for their customers of today and tomorrow.”
