Hawkshead Brewery’s Lakeland Lager won gold at the Society of Independent Brewers’ (SIBA) National Independent Beer Awards.

Having won the North West final it was judged alongside other regional bottle and can winners and was declared national champion in its category of smallpack premium lagers and Pilsners.
The brewery’s Windermere Pale also picked up a bronze in the smallpack standard bitters and pale ales category.
