The Lady Ottoline pub, in London’s Bloomsbury, has re-opened, headed up by acclaimed chef Tom Haste, and with many of the original team returning.

Now under the management of the family-run Market Taverns pub company, the Lady Ottoline has been carefully restored and refurbished, preserving all of its original charm and elegance.

It is named after Lady Ottoline Morrell, the society hostess and patron of the historical Bloomsbury Group of bohemian artists and writers, members of which included T S Eliot, D H Lawrence, Virginia Woolf and Aldous Huxley.

Tom Haste said: “Our focus at the Lady Ottoline is to source, cook and serve the best seasonal produce we can find. By keeping things simple and rustic, we’ll ensure the produce’s quality and flavour aren’t compromised.”

As well as a focus on gin and cocktails, the drinks menu will include tap specials and guest brews.
