Camden Town Brewery has launched an ad campaign that looks to change people’s attitude to lager while promoting its own Hells brand.

Drawn and animated by illustrator Stevie Gee, the ads show, says Camden, “the pure, sheer joy when you clap your eyes on your pint, can or bottle of Camden”.

The campaign launches today with posters going up in London, Leeds and Manchester. It will be extended to press and digital platforms later.

Brewery founder Jasper Cuppaidge told Campaign: “It’s a fantastic beer style. We want people to be proud to drink lager. The campaign says that after that first sip of Hells you’re going to be in love with us forever.”
