Robinsons Visitors CentreRobinsons Visitors Centre has been named one of just 11 attractions across England to receive a gold accolade for outstanding quality as part of VisitEngland’s Visitors Attraction Quality Scheme.

VisitEngland presented accolades 57 attractions across the country, and Robinsons Visitors Centre was among the highest scores.

Robinsons Visitors Centre opened its doors at the end of March 2013 to mark the brewery’s 175th anniversary. Over the last 12 months it has welcomed more than 40,000 visitors from across the world, accommodated over 3,000 local business conferences and in excess of 100 bespoke events at its unique venue. To cope with the demand for its facilities, from both consumers and businesses alike, Robinsons launched an additional conference suite, The Frederic’s Room, in March 2014 and increased the attraction’s opening hours to seven days a week.

This latest recognition from VisitEngland continues what has been a ‘gold run’ for the attraction, which was recently named the best small visitor attraction at the annual Marketing Cheshire awards, and is also shortlisted for the forthcoming national VisitEngland Awards for Excellence in 2015.

William Robinson, managing director (pubs division) at Robinsons, said: “We couldn’t be more proud to represent Stockport and the North West as one of only a handful of attractions to receive this recognition from VisitEngland.

“Since opening in March 2013, we’ve had the pleasure of sharing our beers, history and unique story with thousands of families, businesses and beer enthusiasts from across the world. The gold award is the continued confirmation of our dedication to providing an excellent customer experience within a truly unique setting.”
