St Peter’s Brewery is celebrating more industry success, having been awarded three medals at the Global Beer Masters competition.

Run by The Drinks Business, the Global Beer Masters blind tastes beers from all over the world to identify the best examples of beer in a range of categories.

This year, St Peter’s Brewery picked up a gold medal for its Cream Stout, and silver medals for its Old Style Porter and Plum Porter, which only launched last year.

Managing director, John Hadingham, said: “These awards are judged by some of the finest palates in the world — from beer experts to buyers and sommeliers — so winning a medal is a huge testament to the skills of our brewing team.”

This is the second year running thatCream Stout has taken the gold medal. John said: “When it comes to brewing, our team is dedicated to excellence and consistently produces fantastic products.

“The Plum Porter was only launched last year, but its success reflects the growing interest in fruit beers and porters.”
