Ei Group, Britain’s largest pubco, has reported like-for-like sales up 0.6% in its Pub Partnership division in the six months to March 31.
Average annual net income in the division was £80,900 per pub, up 4.3%. There was growing income from beer, aided by discounts.
Managed pubs saw like-for-like sales growth of 6.6%.
Ei Group made £34m from the disposal of 83 largely under-performing pubs.
