Retailers who are part of the Costcutter Supermarkets Group (CSG) now have access to a selection of EeBriaTrade’s list of UK breweries.

EeBriaTradeCSG stores will be able to order from more than 80 UK breweries and cider producers as part of the agreement, making EeBriaTrade Costcutter’s largest direct-to-store craft beer supplier.

EeBriaTrade’s platform allows all its retailers to browse and buy online from hundreds of products, all collected and delivered directly from the brewery to stores.

CSG is looking to increase and improve its craft beer offering by getting access to fresh, exciting beer from highly respected breweries all over the UK, with a special emphasis on providing locally produced beer and cider to customers.

EeBriaTrade chief executive, David Jackson, said: “Working with Costcutter is a great opportunity for us to help more of our huge range of breweries get products into the hands of more people. Making craft beer increasingly accessible, both in bars and to drink at home, is part of our mission.

“Due to EeBriaTrade’s marketplace model, we can provide individual Costcutter stores across the country with access to their local producers, along with both limited edition and core range beers from some of the UK’s best breweries.”

Support local brewing talent

Daniel Forth, of Costcutter, added: “It’s long been our intention to open up our drinks range to include more craft beer, particularly finding a way to support the local brewing talent around each location.

“The partnership with EeBriaTrade allows us to do just that, by putting the buying decisions into the hands of the stores, but ensuring consistency with our operations and a reliable service quality.

“EeBriaTrade’s huge range of products and technological approach is a breath of fresh air, and we’re delighted that we’re working together.”
