Siren Yu Lu

Siren Craft Brew is continuing its impressive recent growth by adding Yu Lu, a loose leaf pale ale brewed with Earl Grey Tea, to its core beer range.

Yu Lu’s Earl Grey leaves deliver an inherent dry bitterness along with a burst of bergamot juice that begins to layer the fruit flavours, complemented by an all-star American hop profile of Chinook, Citra, Amarillo and Simcoe.

For an extra high note, lemon zest shines through in careful balance. The beer comes full circle on the finish, as the ale yeast from Vermont, that has since become Siren’s unique house strain, finishes the tasting with gorgeous peach and apricot notes.

Siren Craft Brew founder, Darron Anley, said: “As part of our core range, we’re delighted to be able to offer Yu Lu in cask, keg and bottle all year round. It’s just as good as an after-work pint as it is complementing food in a restaurant. We think it’s a great introduction to the flavour-forward beers in our core range, and an ideal starting point on the craft beer journey.”

Siren Craft Brew has just been included in Ratebeer’s prestigious Top 100 Brewers in the World for the third year running and is undergoing expansion at its base in Finchampstead, Berkshire.

Siren will be pouring Yu Lu for tea lovers at Kensington Roof Gardens, London, on Friday, April 21.
