The Guinness Open Gate Brewery Experimental Taproom in London’s Old Truman Brewery is serving up a limited edition Christmas beer, adding to the great selection of beers and ales already on offer.

The festive spiced barley wine is dry hopped with nutmeg, cinnamon and cardamom.

Open until Saturday (December 22), the taproom brings the taste of the inventive beers created at Guinness’s Open Gate Brewery in Dublin, to Londoners to enjoy.

There is a wide range of brews, including American West-Coast style Citra IPA and hopped, crisp and clean-tasting Pilsner.

There has been an experimental brewery at St James’s Gate in Dublin for more than 100 years, and today the Open Gate Brewery enables Guinness brewers to explore new recipes, interpret old ones, and experiment freely to bring exciting new beers to life.

The beer taps in the brewery are on constant rotation, with guests feeding back on their favourite pours.

• The London taproom is at Shop 11, Dray Walk, Old Truman Brewery, 91 Brick Lane, London E1 6QR.
