Camden cans

Camden Town Brewery is opening the doors of its new £30m Enfield brewery to friends, family and beer fans on Saturday, July 29.

The all-day party will bring the best of Camden Town to Enfield with live music, pop-up restaurants, workshops, brewery tours and tasting, talks, stuff for kids and, of course, beer for adults.

Fans can raise a glass and toast in style, with a special edition Enfield brew, designed by the Camden Town Beer team, to commemorate its new second home.

The team will also be leading guided tours, available throughout the day, providing a first look at the site and its state-of-the-art brewhouse.

Brewery founder, Jasper Cuppaidge, said “After months — or years — of hard work, we’re incredibly excited to finally open the doors of our new brewery. It’s been an exciting journey, but the best bit by far will be welcoming all our friends in for a beer at our new place.

“Everyone is invited, so grab your mates, mums, dads, aunties, uncles and kids, and come have a look around and join the party!”

The new environmentally-friendly site, with an area of more than 50,000 square feet, is the largest investment in London’s brewing industry for three decades and will enable the north London brewery to keep up with ever-increasing demand for its beer.

A short journey from Camden Town Brewery’s current home in Kentish Town, the new site will brew all of Camden’s core beers, including its flagship Camden Hells, Camden Pale Ale, Gentleman’s Wit, Camden Pils Lager, IHL Lager and Ink Stout.

Creativity will remain at the heart of Camden Town Brewery’s existing brewery at Kentish Town West, which will be used as a test site for innovation, specials and collaboration beers.

Entry to the party is free of charge via a general admission ballot. Register for tickets and find out more information by visiting tickets.camdentownbrewery.com
