Daniel Thwaites has appointed Steve Magnall as managing director of Thwaites Beer Co. Steve is currently the deputy managing director of Greene King Brewing and Brands, where he has worked for the past eight years.
He will join Thwaites in the new position of managing director to lead the development and operations of Thwaites Beer Co. Steve has previously worked in the food manufacturing industry and is also a non-executive director of Cask Marque.
Thwaites’ chief executive, Richard Bailey, said: “This is an exciting time for us as we progress our plans to move to a new site and build a new brewery, we continue to grow our own brewed beers including our mainstream and seasonal ales and increase our presence outside our heartland.
“I am delighted that we have been able to attract Steve into the Company and he has much to offer us as we develop our business. Steve will join the business by the end of April 2012.”
