Although Young’s Brewery left Wandsworth a few years ago and moved to Bedford where it merged with Wells to create Wells & Young’s, brewing has continued on the Ram Brewery site under John Hatch, one of the Young’s Brewing team. He works as site manager for the property owner Minerva and brews on a non-commercial basis.
Rammy Craft Ales
A 2.5-barrel microbrewery set up by Matt Holmes in 2011. The small-batch beers are created in what Matt calls a “discreet, currently ‘underground’ location”.

Rebel Brewing Co
Set up in small premises in 2011 with a 2.5-barrel plant, Rebel saw rapid expansion, thanks mainly to good local sales, and purchased a 15-barrel plant in a modern industrial unit. In 2016, however, the company went into administration, but a new owner was found at the start of 2017. The brewery takes its name from the rebellious history of hometown Penryn.

Red Shoot Brewery
The Red Shoot is a Wadworth pub in the New Forest, Hampshire, that has its own microbrewery and comes up with its own individual beers, as well as selling Wadworth core and seasonal cask ales. The old Rhymney Brewery was acquired by national giant Whitbread in the 1960s and was closed in 1978. In 2005, though, the name rose again, as a new microbrewery, and the beers are found all over South Wales.
