Norfolk Brewhouse

Hiberno (4.5% ABV, bottle)
Deep, clear amber with a slightly off-white head. Berry fruit on the nose, with a malty background and an edge of citrus. Reminds me a little of the peel in a Christmas pudding recipe. It’s intriguing on the palate. There’s a solid malt backbone that the colour suggest, but it’s bursting with vitality, herbal and spicy as well as fruity. And there’s that hint of berry fruit. It’s complex, thirst-quenching, and characterful. Do try this — it’s delightful.
Buy it: I was sent mine. It’s part of the 12 Beers of Christmas box from Beers of Europe.
